Seco Tools is working with sustainability in an active and structured way. We aim to recycle as much raw material as possible, steadily increase the efficiency of our processes, and continue to reduce our waste and our consumption of energy and water. We endeavor to ensure a safe and healthy work environment with equal terms and opportunities for all our employees, world over.

Sustainable in every is one of our strategic pillars and a part of our Seco vision. We aim to be regarded as a sustainability role-model in our industry and increase circularity by driving the shift to a circular economy. We will reduce our climate impact and put safety on top of the agenda. Our employees are our most valuable resource.
As a mean to live our vision, we are following a comprehensive sustainability program that we call “Make the SH/FT”. The SH/FT program provides a structured and holistic way of reaching our long-term sustainability targets in the areas circularity, climate, people and fair play. The program includes not only objectives and targets for our own operations, but also related to our suppliers and customers.

As an enabler for our high ambitions in the sustainability area, we introduced the Seco Green Fund in 2012. Each year, money is set aside to support projects that can contribute to our long-term sustainability strategy. We are, therefore, able to finance new investments and projects aimed at strengthening our sustainability work.

Seco are supporters of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the SDGs. Guided by the goals, it is up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone. For us at Seco, they function as the foundation to our Sustainability strategy. Among the 17 SDGs, Seco is more actively driving eight areas where we can directly contribute, resulting in the most positive impact.
